| JEWISH EDUCATION FAIR 2007 About two hundred parents, many with children in hand, came to meet representatives of day schools, preschools, supplementary programs and overnight camps last fall. Parents, grandparents and prospective parents all had the opportunity to gather information about the different options open to them. One of the participants last year summed up the prevailing feeling. Joy Eisen, who has a 5-year-old daughter who she is planning to send to day school, said, “This is my second year coming to the fair - I saw it advertised in the newspaper. It’s a good opportunity to see everything in one place. I came to get more information and I have found it very helpful.” For the first time, this event was held on a Sunday, and so activities were provided for young children as well.
