| Quality Review and Enhancement (QRE) The QRE initiative is an outcome of recommendations by the Implementation Committee which is based on the findings of the Task Force on Jewish Day School Education. These recommendations include a greater investment by the Mercaz in strategies to enhance the quality of education and a quality review process of schools in both General and Judaic studies. (The initiative has been broadened to include supplementary and informal programs.) The purposes of this initiative are as follows: - ensure that the school/program fulfills its educational vision
- examine the institution's effectiveness in enabling all students to reach their highest potential of learning
- identify areas which need improvement
- provide guidance, support and incentives to enable the institution to embark on an overall plan towards quality improvement.
